I was made for another planet. – A&Y at Neo Japan

It was that retro-rebelliousness sponsored by corporate entities which was so popular on the runways of New Japan. She was made for it. Not because she was retro, or even rebellious. Corporations didn’t sponsor actual dissidents. By making rebellion fashionable, they took away its power. It was an underhanded tactic that worked surprisingly well. When housewives shave their own heads for the sake of fashion, a malcontent looks surprisingly mainstream.
I was made for another planet, but I lost my way.

Hello, bloglings! A&Y released some new scifi awesomeness with this cape at Neo Japan. Pop on over and grab it, but only if you want to look this badass.

Opulent Tastes – We Love Roleplay and Enchantment

112016-03-edit-1

Hello, my lil bloglings! Just wanted to show you some more beautiful things from WLRP and Enchantment. This hair from Letituier is really beautiful; the cage around the buns is so intricate. While I was Enchantment snatching up the hair, I picked up the necklace which comes with a lovely tiara from Modern Couture. And don’t forget about this round of WLRP that is still going, Clef de Peau has this top out which is fitted and looks stunning. And, of course, these bloody lipped appliers from Glam Affair are done as beautifully as all their skins.

Professor Wiltshire and his wife, the engineer. – We Love Roleplay and The Mix Event

By all appearances, they shouldn’t have been together.

His English was painstakingly proper. Each syllable was enunciated distinctly, and that precision came with a strange ease of comfort from familiarity. This same precision and comfort repeated itself in every aspect of his life. His movements, the manner of his dress, the way he ate a meal – all followed the manner of his speech – that odd combination of exactitude conjoined with ease from a lifetime of presenting himself this way. His words and his movements were moderated and slow.

But her words were broken. Sentences flittered out of her mouth rife with slang and words contracted and shortened with a quick tongue. Often her sentences were punctuated with giggles or a word that made the professor blush. She also blushed, but not at the profanities that escaped her lips when frustrated with another machine that refused to do as she commanded. She carried a wrench like a sceptre and dared her machines to disobey her orders. And they did dare. It was their daring which showed in long rivulets of oil that dripped down her legs and arms. It was their daring which splattered across her face and caught in her hair in clumps. Her movements also emulated her speech – quick, angular, and often incomplete.

To be sure, they were a strange combination, but they leaned into each other. Their styles complemented each other, made them an efficient and rigorous combination, which reflected in their work life, but also their private life. Their intimacy was one of respect, an understanding that each brought something the other needed.

Professor Wiltshire and his wife, the engineer.    A very dear friend of mine from a small store called Amalgamation created some steampunk goggles that are rich in detail, and he needed some photos. Thus, a steampunk post was borne. Yes, thus! xD

I love decorating with books and scattering them around my parcel. So, I was pretty ecsatic about the Literati set released by Stormwind at WLRP this round. There are many different configurations of stacks and piles, and vertical groups and single pieces. And each of these configurations is texture changeable with the HUD.

Also released at WLRP, is this incredibly detailed stimstick by NOMAD. Each color comes with two versions. One version has the steampunkish cogs, the other is a bit simpler in design.

The Mix also started a new round. The Mix is an event where you pick up a HUD and it lists all the stores that are participating that round. Each store is color coded to show if it has a sale item, a new release, or an exclusive item. Valentina E released an exclusive color of this Hand Me Down Ballet Dress. More details for The Mix and how to get the HUD are here.

The Witch – More We Love RP, Fantasy Gacha Carnival, and The Dressing Room Fusion

She was very good at discovering what people needed. They always had needs – love, ambition, wealth. She didn’t even search them out, they came to her. The poor, desperate souls came begging. They usually clutched tiny coin purses filled with the currency of men, trite ramblings filled the air around them as they hoped for pity. But her face was not one that reflected pity or empathy. She was, afterall, a businesswoman but she did not deal in gold or coins that promised something from a government she did not recognize. No, she required something far more valuable. it was strange that the humans themselves did not value it.

Cold, apathetic eyes glanced over at the dark stone figure as she finished casting. The sky had grown dark. Even the earth understood the deeds of this woman, yet, human greed and desire always overcame their ability to reason.

Bloggettes! So many wonderful events are happening right now, it is difficult to keep up with all of them. Of course, the anniversary round of We Love Roleplay (WLRP) is still going. At the event aisling is releasing this beautiful dress called hierophant. It comes with a HUD to color change different parts of it and is very well details (aisling always is).

Most of these decor items were from gachas at The Fantasy Gacha Carnival (FGC). The themes this round are goth, demon, elf, black caste, and urt. There are ons of dark decor items that are really beautifully made. This round ends June 5th, so don’t forget to stop over by then.

I always like to pop over to The Dressing Room Fusion (TDRF) to see if there are some discount items I can snatch up for my alt; she lives on a budget. When I was there, I found this lovely lace collar from Scrub. The horned hood actually comes with a high collar, but I really liked the lace detailing on this one.

The Secret Affair has also begun and is where I found these cuffs by Kibitz. They’re simple and well textured. Sometimes, that is all you need.

Also released at We ♥ RP was this cap and horns by Meva. It is perfectly villainous and fits the Lelutka head very snugly.

In case you didn’t know, The Fantasy Collective is also open.
