Talk is cheap. – Voluptas Virtualis in Bound Box

Think of me as the shore, dry and crumbling, waiting for the quenching water which lashes at me with its salty tongue. Your words are cheap, but the sting of my wounds burns brightly along your shimmering waves which wax and wane across my cracked flesh.

Talk is cheap.

Hello, bloglings! Voluptas Virtualis released this gorgeous leather harness and mask in the first release of the Bound Box. Bound Box is a new subscription box specifically created for kinksters. You can visit the Bound Box website to view the terms of this specific box. It is a really fun box with some amazing creators.  I also previously wrote a rant about my love of subscription boxes here.  So, if you missed this box (and this beautiful harness) you can buy the box at a higher price. Also! Don’t forget to subscribe next round.

Poseidon’s Daughter – Collabor88 Mermaid round

They said she was borne of salt water and sand. They said she was borne on the warm and gentle waves that carressed the shore, the very waves that tugged the shore into the sea, eroding it away by beckoning the grains of sand into their depths. They said she controlled the oceans, the power of the seas contained in a single thought that drifted in cavernous labyrinth of her mind. They said she was more powerful than Poseidon’s trident. Of course, they said many things of which they knew little.

The ocean was her prison. Poseidon, jealous of her powers, trapped her there with only the seahorses to keep her company. Hidden away, she could not rival the powers of his trident.

They said she was viciously vengeful. That she awaited and plotted for a moment of escape. And in that moment would be Poseidon’s fall.  He would fall to the those deep and empty eyes. Eyes which he had long since abandoned from fear.

Poseidon's Daughter

Bloglings, I’m still mourning the We Love Roleplay this month. I keep reminding myself that WLRP hasn’t abandoned us, but shall return. I feel dark and lonley and pathetically unadorned in fantasy clothing without it, though.

However, there are TONS of events going on right now. And, though, Collabor88 is not “mermaid” themed, it is “Under the Sea” themed, which I deem to be synonymous…and my deeming is the best kind of deeming there is. Some of the other events that have opened are: Hair Fair!, Indie Teepee, Project Limited, OMGacha, The Secret Affair, The Wizarding Faire…and probably other things that I cannot quite remember.

The Stories She Tells. – Romp and Event@1st

So, I wrote up this post about a week ago…and totally forgot to publish it. I’m so sorry. But! I still have pretty picture for you with this amazing corset by Sweet Thing at Romp and White Widow’s lovely tattoo that was released at Event@1st.
She told me stories that made me forget my nightmares.Because I can’t resist a photo with wings…and because you needed to be able to see this tattoo and harness more clearly. White Widow’s details and intricacies are just beautiful.   Blue

The voyeur. – Collabor88 and Dark Style Fair

She fluttered her wings restlessly as she heaved a sigh, looking down over the edge of the cloud. The flicker birds played around her, swooping and chasing each other. They flashed their tiny flames through the fog of the early morning light. Absentmindedly, she motioned towards them to calm down. But it was a wasted gesture, as flicker birds do not listen, not to fae, not even to gods. Annoyed, another sigh snuck through her lips as her eyes remained on the ground far below.

“Silly humans,” she thought with a giggle. Her laughter tinkled like a wind chime and tickled the bellies of the flicker birds. The birds continued their acrobatics in the air with each other, but with more vigor. She shook her head in disbelief, another round of giggles freeing itself from her belly. “Oh, The stories they tell down there! Do they really believe such things?” With a deft motion of her wrist, she closed the gap in the cloud beneath her, hiding the world below from her view. “Humans really do believe the silliest of things,” she laughed again, at no one in particular. “Science, they call it,” she said with a final shake of her head.
