Into the Sky – Pumec, The Forge, and Zibska for We Love Roleplay

We Love Roleplay opened today! That means tons of new goodies for everyone! First there is this absolutely beautiful skin from Pumec. It comes with appliers for everyfuckingthing. It is crazy. I’ve never worn a Pumec skin before but their applier HUDs are full of awesome. So awesome that I needed to share them with you. This is their two HUDs, one for bodies and one for heads:

So you can see all the amazing options and the simplicity of having one HUD. Although, you probably only have one body. What is the point in having six or twenty? >.< I can’t imagine anyone who would buy that many mesh bodies….just ridiculous. *hides*

LotD 117: A Touch of Gold

LotD 117

Hewwo Bloglings! I picked up this little dress from a friend the other day, isn’t is lovely? I absolutely love paisley; there just isn’t enough paisley in world. 🙂 I paired it with my favorite scarf from tram (I know I wear it a lot, but it is perfect, bloggettes) and some spiked shoes from FANATIK (be careful around these ones, they’re dangerous).

LotD 117

Style notes: This dress by Context comes with a HUD for up to five texture changes.

Tokya Girl Amelia composite

And Bloggettes, pleae don’t forget that the skin fair starts on March 15th. The owner of Tokyo Girl was kind enough to give me a review copy of this pretty skin. Isn’t Amelia lovely? Her features are nice and soft. Though she looks young, she doesn’t look *too* young. Also, the clavicle and throat are beautifully done.

I will be previewing a bunch of other items for the Skin Fair in the next few days, so keep reading. 🙂

Skin Notes: Amelia comes in the five skin tones shown here. Starting at the large left photo and going in a clockwise direction they are as follows: Natural, Tanned, Sunkissed, Pale, Fair. It also comes with Lolas Tango appliers, if you prefer a curvier figure; shapes, and five colors of eyes. Enjoy being pretty Bloglings!

Color Triple Play: Terracotta

Triple Play: Terracotta

Hellooo Bloglings! I’ve got a bit of a different Triple Play today. Usually, I take one piece of clothing and utilize it three different ways to present its versatility. Well, yesterday, Belgravia released these beautiful new dresses and I fell in love with this color. I wanted to show you all of them. So, I’m doing a color triple play: three dresses, one color.

The first dress is a gorgeous piece with silver inserts on the sides, which emphasize the curves of the hips.  The dress comes in nine colors and some colors have silver inserts and some have gold.

Triple Play: Terracotta

This dress is a more conservative piece but the front panel is perfectly made, giving it extra texture and interest. It comes in eleven color combinations.

Triple Play: Terracotta

I love the color interchange on these dresses and the wrinkling of the fabric is done beautifully and comes in tend color combinations. Overall, the metallic touches on the new collection are divine making the pieces feel luxurious without overdoing it and making them cheap.

Triple Play: Tram Cable Knit Sweater

Triple Play: Tram Cable Knit Sweater

Hello Bloglings! I felt a bit ambitious last night and put together three looks for you again today, each featuring the new cable knit pullover from Tram. This first look is a nice sweet look in soft yellow and also features the new skinny pants released by Tram. I was told I look like a librarian from 1953 when I wore this! I’m taking that as a compliment of the highest degree.

Triple Play: Tram Cable Knit Sweater

In a much different direction, I paired the brown sweater with an orange pencil skirt from Maitreya. Furthermore, these new bags from BSD at Fashion Week are just overflowing with details.

Triple Play: Tram Cable Knit Sweater

A nice casual look with nothing particularly new, except the jewelery from Maxi Gossamer (I don’t need to tell you that it is of premium quality, do I?) which appears at this round of Collabor88.

Style Notes: These new sweaters from Tram come in ten (ten!) colors. When you purchase it you will get two version, one with the lacy bit on the shoulders and one without (the first photo has it with and the next two feature it without). The adorable floral skinny pants come in six pastel tones.

ColdLogic Preview @ Vintage Fair

I’m sure you’ve heard that the Vintage Fair begins on August 4th,  and I’m sure you’re as excited as I am. ColdLogic sent me some beautiful review copies of their releases and they’re all amazing (as usual). This post is a little picture heavy, but I’m sure your eyes can handle it. 🙂

This is the Brady dress which is just adorable. It reminds me a bit of Twiggy. ><  This is what I was going for. I am showing it here in blue, but it will also be available in green, orange and red.

So, I paired it with this hair from tram and round hoop earrings from North West. Then added some Izzie’s overknee socks and UBU Pornstar Lo-Tops. Don’t forget to check the Store Directory for landmarks. 🙂

Next:

This is the Christie dress by ColdLogic that will be released at the Vintage Fair. This is in cocoa/blue, but it will also be available in cocoa/coal, cocoa/latte, and cocoa/pink. I love these color combinations. This dress is reminiscent of the past, but could still maintain a very contemporary look.

For this look, I paired the ColdLogic dress with the Ginger Hair in Wild Honey by Wasabi Pills, Izzie’s Owl Necklace, and Gos’ Curvaceous Boots in Brown.

Here is a quick back view of the dress:

LotD 33: Of Tea Time Revolutions

Not long ago, I was asked to dress as something that represented my country (the US). I didn’t want to dress in the colors or the flag or even swathed at the Statue of Liberty. I don’t think these things represent the U.S. well at all. They are such ambiguous representations. Instead, I dressed in rather casual clothes and sat my avatar down on the ground. She was a college student at a sit-in. My argument was that to dissent was American from the very beginning, from the Boston tea party to Vietnam protests, it is dissent and disagreement that is essential to the American ideal. So, here is another hippie, off to start another revolution, even if it is just an intellectual one.
