“Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.” – Albert Camus
Hello bloglings! This gacha set was released by Plastik at Whimsical in August. I haven’t been able to blog it until now, but it is so beautiful. You can now drop by their main store to see it. There are so many pieces in the set for you to win and mix and match. Also, these ethereal bento fairy wings are perfect. Here is the gacha key for you to peruse the wide assortment of prizes.
She was sexy. It wasn’t difficult to fit these physical criteria. I remember tales of when people were forced to live and be judged by the lottery of birth and appearance from centuries back. What a strange world that must have been. But we reconfigure ourselves regularly, given money and access. So, we are forced to live and be judged by the lottery of power and wealth.
A&Y released this beautiful latex, cyberpunk corset at ROMP this round. It comes with all their usual color tinting, glow effects changing HUD. they also released this cyberpunk ballet boots at Fetish Fair.
Now, I admit, I love cyberpunk and scifi things. I watch tons of Dr. Who and Star Trek. SciFi has this ability of questioning modern conventions in a popular way long before other media outlets are capable of doing so. However, there are, in SciFi, some troubling and problematic tropes. Even though I love movies like The Fifth Element, it is trope which really exemplifies a lot of social issues. If you are interested in a really thorough and nuanced discussion of this, this video is excellent:
Magic crackled around her in a soft hum. You could hear it, if you stepped closely enough. I wondered if she constantly heard that sound and felt the tingle along her skin. Or maybe it is like knowing your toes are at the ends of your feet and fingers are on your hands. You know they are there, but you are not constantly made aware of their existence.
Many people thought she was merely an enchantress, beguiling men with the curves of her body, but they were small minded and knew nothing of the nature of magicks. Others thought she obtained her magic from the crystals which hung from her ears, clothes, and a large one embedded in her wand, but this is not the case. Truth be told, the Elven sorceress just liked pretty things. No, her magic came from the pit of her belly and the thrum of her heart. It coursed along the surface of her skin and intertwined itself in the tendrils of her hair, and she could pull it and tug it until it grew in the palm of her hand. It was a physical manifestation of her wisdom and compassion.
Hello, Bloglings! So, this post is a little late because my week has been insane. My phone broke, my modem died, and my car broke down. Fun! But that doesn’t mean you should miss out on this beautiful wand/staff from Plastik at Crystal Heart. It comes with both handle sizes so it will work as either a wand or a staff, with different built in poses, and a HUD to color match until your heart is content. And while you’re out shopping for beautiful, fantastical things, stop by Kustom9 and pick up these new ears from Swallow.
Take a quick gander at the Swallow Magic Pixie Ears HUD:
Don’t forget the three Plastik Veralius Staff HUDs:
“It has become appallingly obvious that our technology has exceeded our humanity.” – Einstein
Hello, bloglings! New latex dress released by A&Y at XXX. Comes with their typical changing-all-the-parts HUD. It is so smooth and shiny. Krova also released this cool hoodie at We Love Roleplay, which has the option to wear the hood up or down. They don’t have many color options, but black is always useful.
The future is a fragmented and varied thing. It reveals itself only to those with the strength of mind to see it and to understand its ambiguity. She followed the fragments like veined roads on a map. Some roads were certain and prevalent. It seemed as if all other roads spawned forth from them. Other roads were hidden trails, breaking through the thicket in a forest of uncertainty. One could spend their whole lifetime monitoring these roads, looking for signs and indicators of what may come to pass. It was an exhausting task, the future whirling around her, claiming her, blinding her, and binding her to a time which was not her own. But it was task that was part of her soul and her very being.
Hello, bloglings! In case you’ve forgotten, We Love Roleplay is still selling tons of amazing roleplay gear and free Christmas presents. One item being sold by aisling is this beautiful blindfold. It comes with an extra forehead bindhi and a necklace to match. All are included with a color matching HUD for your color indecisiveness (if you’re anything like me anyhow).
The Fantasy Collective just recently opened with a special holiday gacha round. This round includes loot boxes for rares. So, each rare has three items in it. Yay! Three items in one. So, I waited specifically for this event to open because I wanted this shroud by Stitched. It fits really well. I used the no-hair version with the Truth bangs group gift.
She carried winter with her, wearing it like a mantle, bearing down heavily on her shoulders. But it was a burden she knew well, and she carried it with grace. Queens do not complain about the weight of their crown upon their head nor the burden of law and scepter which they grasp in delicate fingers. Instead, they carry them and wrap the weight around them like a cloak to keep them warm. And, strange as it may seem, the winter did keep her warm. No, it did not feel warm on her cool skin, but it was a comfortable cloak, a burden with which she was very familiar.
Hello, lil bloglings! A new round of We Love Role-play opened last week, in case you’ve forgotten, I’m here to remind you. At this round E.V.E released this beautiful ice sphere. It is perfect for wintry scenes, like the one above. It is modify, so you can change the level of glow on it and resize it to fit your needs. It is really beautiful. While you’re there, EMO-tions has these beautiful eye crystals on discount.
While you’re out and about searching for beautiful wintry items pop over to Winter Solstice. It is a fantasy event celebrating the beauty of winter. It is also where I picked up this very elegant and intricate neck piece by Purple Moon.
And since you’re already out shopping, you might as well stop by Cosmopolitan this round and pick up this great fur boa and by Collabor88 which just opened for this gorgeous dress by Zaara. It comes in a variety of colors to suit your needs, but this icy blue was perfect for my ice queen.
It is strange the way our story has been told to children as a warning against being greedy for sweets. The evils that can happen to young ones who are easily lured by the simple prospects of sweets, but this is all a misunderstanding or blatant falsehoods.
My stepmother was a vicious woman, and my father was too weak and too lonely to prevent the evils she perpetrated against my bother and I. Hansel and I tried to remain in the house for love of our father, but the cruelty soon became overwhelming. The prospect of leaving home without any means or knowledge, throwing ourselves at the mercy of a forest, that was an easier reality to endure than our stepmother. So, we left. We were not tricked. Why should we have wanted to remain in such a household? The comfort of shelter was an easy price to pay to escape from that woman.
So, with little more than a change of clothes and a stale loaf of bread, we ran into the dark forest. And the way was lit by pebbles. Shiny pebbles which glistened in the moonlight as if bathed in water. The dark forest, which we had always been told was a dangerous and frightening place, welcomed us. The pebbles took us deeper into the forest’s thrall. It surrounded us. Fireflies danced in the trees as if celebrating our presence. How could we deny the forest when it welcomed us so graciously?
Hello again, blogettes! I’ve got some more Enchantment coming your way with this precious new dress from Sweet Kajira; it comes in both Maitreya and eBody sizes. This round closes on November 30th, so hop over before this deliciousness goes away. Kustom9 is now open, as well. Pewpew! released this adorable fish on a stick, which you should pick up so you can be adorable, too.
She stood at the edge, a great expanse of black water before her. Tiny drips of moonlight sparkled across its surface. Those dark waters always beckoned her. The princess had only known the tower; it’s roughly hewn stone was intended to protect her. But that stone weighed heavily upon her, stifled her. Her death occurred the moment they locked her inside.
This beautiful dress by Junbug is available at The Countdown Room. This round actually ended on May 17th. But I’ll tell you a little secret, just between you and me, you can still go there and get the dress. I just tried. There is a script that tells you it will eject you, but it never does. So, go get this lovely dress because it is breathtaking. The long bell sleeves are perfect. This dress is also available in a pregnant version from The Secret Affair, in case you need that as well.
Uber just opened this week as well and the theme is spice, which mean Indian, apparently. There are so many lovely Indian inspired things to be had. Truth released this beautifully plaited hair.
